The Barbaresco DOCG "Nervo" hails from the renowned Rizzi winery, located in the heart of the Piedmont region, famed for the production of highest quality wines. This Barbaresco is an outstanding example of elegance and complexity, hallmark characteristics of wines produced in the specific Nervo subzone.

Once poured into a glass, it displays a deep ruby red color with garnet highlights, typical of wines that have undergone proper aging. On the nose, "Nervo" offers a rich and persistent aromatic bouquet, with notes of ripe red fruits such as cherry and raspberry, which blend harmoniously with hints of violet, licorice, and sweet spices, a result of resting in wooden barrels.

On the palate, the wine is extraordinarily balanced with a well-integrated tannic structure and a lively freshness, leading to a long and pleasantly aromatic finish. Its complexity and elegance make it an ideal candidate for aging, capable of evolving and improving over many years.

This Barbaresco DOCG "Nervo" by Rizzi is perfect for pairing with rich and structured dishes such as roasted red meats, game, and complex mushroom-based dishes. It is also excellent with aged cheeses, contributing to a memorable dining experience.

Undoubtedly, the Barbaresco "Nervo" is a testament to the savoir-faire of the Rizzi winery and represents a prestigious addition to any wine collection. A true gem for wine lovers in search of excellence and refinement in their glass.
