This Barbera d'Alba DOC Piana 2023 signed by the renowned Ceretto winery represents a magnificent expression of the Piedmontese territory. Characterized by an intense ruby red color, this wine emanates rich aromas of ripe red fruits, such as cherries and plums, with slight spicy nuances that add complexity to the olfactory bouquet. On the palate, the liveliness of the typical Barbera acidity harmoniously blends with a soft and well-integrated tannin, resulting in a balanced and enveloping sip. Its structure is enriched by a light passage in wooden barrels, which bestows delicate notes of vanilla and toasting. Perfect to serve with traditional Piedmontese cuisine dishes, such as agnolotti del plin or braised meats, this wine is ideal for those who wish to discover the typicity and elegance of Barbera d'Alba. To be enjoyed young or left to age for a few years to appreciate its evolution.
