The Barbera d'Alba DOC "Without Added Sulphites" from Castello di Neive represents an innovative approach that is attentive to health and the environment in wine production. This wine expresses the winery's desire to offer a product which, while remaining faithful to the qualitative excellence typical of Castello di Neive, also responds to the growing demands of consumers for wines produced with as little intervention as possible and with an eye towards naturalness.

The Barbera grape, grown in the fertile lands of Alba, in the heart of Piedmont, is famous for its lively acidity and depth of fruit. Castello di Neive, using sustainable agricultural practices and winemaking methods that limit the addition of sulphites, manages to capture the pure essence of the grape variety, while preserving the freshness and authenticity of the fruit.

Winemaking "without added sulphites" requires particular care and attention in all phases of production, from harvesting the grapes to fermentation and bottling, to guarantee the stability of the wine and protect it from unwanted oxidation without resorting to the use of sulphites, substances normally used for their antioxidant and preservative properties. This process allows us to obtain a wine that reflects the terroir of origin and the character of the vine in an even more direct way.

Visually, Barbera d'Alba "Without Added Sulphites" has a brilliant ruby red color. On the nose, it stands out for an immediate and fruity bouquet, with evident notes of cherries, raspberries and a light spiciness. This freshness and olfactory cleanliness translates into a lively and harmonious palate, where the typical acidity of Barbera plays a primary role, supporting exceptional drinkability and a pleasant sensation of cleanliness.

This Barbera d'Alba is ideal for accompanying a wide range of dishes, from meat-based Piedmontese cuisine to rich and tasty vegetarian dishes, offering a unique and genuine tasting experience. The choice to produce a wine "Without Added Sulphites" reflects Castello di Neive's commitment to responsible innovation and the search for a quality that respects nature and the consumer, proposing a wine that is at the same time the expression of an ancient grape variety and the result of a modern oenological sensitivity.
