The grapes for this wine are harvested in mid-October, selected manually and transported to the cellar in perforated baskets. Fermentation takes place in thermoregulated stainless steel tanks at 28°C for approximately 15 days, with frequent daily pumping over. After this phase, the wine rests in oak barrels for 4 months. It is important to note that no filtration operation is performed, and the wine continues to refine in the bottle.

The result of this process is a brightly colored wine with a well-balanced structure. It represents a delicate balance and complexity wrapped in smooth velvet, giving aromas of cherry and plum.

It is perfect for those who want to enjoy Barbera immediately but also has the potential to age beautifully for 8-10 years, further improving balance and aroma, whilst keeping its characteristic freshness and roundness intact.

Winery history
The family estate was founded in the immediate post‑war period, and from the 1970s the Boasso family began vinifying part of their grapes rather than selling them. The farmhouse and cellar have been progressively renovated; since 2010 the estate has added an agriturismo to welcome visitors and tourists interested in the Langhe. Today the estate is run by Franco and his sons Ezio and Claudio, who manage the vineyards and hospitality.
Production philosophy
Production focused on expressing the terroir and the traditions of the Langhe: traditional winemaking with long macerations, aging in large casks, and careful attention to grape quality for structured wines suitable for aging.
Terroir and vineyards
Vineyards located in the municipality of Serralunga d'Alba. Typical Langhe soils that provide structure and longevity to the wines, particularly the Baroli produced by the winery.
