All'esame visivo, la Barbera d'Asti Superiore si presenta con un colore rosso rubino intenso, con riflessi granati che denotano sia la maturità che l’eleganza del vino. Winery history
The estate traces its roots to the village of Olivola: the Villa del Bel Riposo was built by Stefano Guazzo in the second half of the 16th century, and in subsequent centuries the property also passed to the Conti Candiani. Winemaking remains a living tradition at the estate, which preserves traces of its noble history by combining historic buildings with modern cellar facilities.
Production philosophy
Faithful to Monferrato's identity, the winery combines precision viticulture and an artisanal approach with the use of contemporary technologies. The winery aims for elegant, distinctive wines, showcasing indigenous grape varieties alongside some experimental projects from Langhe and Gavi.
