La Barbera DOC Piemonte Appassimento di Ricossa rappresenta uno splendido esempio della tradizione piemontese unita a tecniche moderne di vinificazione. Realizzato con uve accuratamente selezionate, questo vino mostra un carattere ricco e profondo, grazie al metodo dell'appassimento che ne intensifica il profilo aromatico e gustativo.

Alla vista, si presenta con un colore rosso rubino intenso, quasi impenetrabile. Al naso, sviluppa profumi complessi e invitanti di frutta rossa matura come ciliegie e prugne, accompagnati da eleganti note di spezie, cioccolato e vaniglia. Questi aromi derivano sia dalle uve appassite che da un attento affinamento in legno, che conferisce al vino maggiore struttura e profondità.

In bocca, la Barbera Appassimento di Ricossa offre una tessitura vellutata e avvolgente, con tannini morbidi e ben integrati. Il gusto è equilibrato, tra la dolcezza della frutta matura e la freschezza tipica della Barbera, resa ancora più intrigante da una lunga persistenza aromatica che chiude con piacevoli sentori speziati.

Winery history
The brand's roots lie in the Asti area: the family has origins linked to a distillery dating back to the late 19th century, and the Ricossa name has been known since the early 20th century. The modern production identity has been consolidated around Tenuta Ca' dei Mandorli, with a new winery and the development of a collection of classic Piedmontese wines over recent decades, and a relaunch of the brand beginning in the last decade with integration into the Argea/Mondodelvino group.
