The grapes come from the ancient 'Cerequio' vineyard, one of the most prestigious crus in the entire Barolo production area.

The grape harvest takes place strictly by hand in October. After delicate pressing, fermentation continues for approximately 3 weeks in steel tanks in contact with the skins. This period includes both pre- and post-fermentation maceration, using the traditional submerged cap method. Malolactic fermentation takes place in wood. Aging lasts about 32 months between barriques and large oak barrels. The wine is bottled without filtration.

The color is an intense ruby red. The scent is enveloping, with notes of ripe red fruits and subtle spices. On the palate it is full, highlighting fruity and citrus notes of strawberry, plum, cherry. The tannin is fine but at the same time imposing, supporting an enveloping and persistent structure. Balsamic notes are perceived in the finish, helping to create a wine of rare elegance and balance.
