The Margheria vineyard benefits from an optimal position to the west, a favorable microclimate, particularly suitable soil and the young vigor of its vines. This combination of factors contributes to the production of grapes of exceptional quality. After manual harvesting, fermentation is carried out in stainless steel tanks at 28°C, with frequent daily pumping over for 12-15 days. At the end of this phase, a 15-day submerged cap fermentation follows, ensuring complete extraction of the tannins and precious aromas. Subsequently, the wine rests elegantly in new 20 hectoliter oak barrels for a period of 3 years. Without undergoing any filtration operation, the wine continues its process of improvement in the bottle.
Barolo Margheria has a fascinating intense ruby color and a complex and enveloping olfactory profile, enriched by notes of red berry fruit and spices. In the mouth, the wine manages to combine the richness of its structure with a surprising complexity in an extraordinary way. The finish is long and rewarding, caressed by an excellent alcoholic strength which gives Barolo Margheria a distinctive and unforgettable character
