The Barolo DOCG Prapo 2019 from Ceretto winery is an excellent example of how winemaking tradition can meet elegance and complexity. Produced with selected Nebbiolo grapes from the Barolo zone, one of the most prestigious areas in Piedmont, this wine presents a deep ruby red color with garnet shades that become more pronounced with aging.

On the nose, the Barolo Prapo offers a rich bouquet with deep aromas of ripe red fruits, notes of violet, tobacco, and a slight touch of spices and chocolate, deriving from about 24 months of aging in oak barrels. On the palate, the wine demonstrates a robust yet balanced structure, with silky tannins that blend well with a pleasant acidity, ensuring a long and persistent finish.

This Barolo is ideal for accompanying intense dishes such as braised meats, game, and aged cheeses. Its complexity and balance also make it perfect for long-term aging in the cellar, promising a favorable evolution in the years to come.
