Barolo DOCG Prapo 2020 from the Ceretto winery represents an exceptional example of excellence in Piedmontese viticulture. Produced exclusively from Nebbiolo grapes, this wine is renowned for its intensely aromatic character and complex structure. The 2020 harvest provided optimal grape ripening, which is reflected in the superior quality of this Barolo.

Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks with a long maceration period, followed by aging for about 24 months in large oak barrels, which impart balance and harmony to the wine. The Barolo Prapo 2020 is distinguished by its deep garnet red color and its intense aromas of ripe red fruit, fine spices, and balsamic notes that elegantly evolve with aging.

On the palate, it offers a full taste with a robust yet harmonious tannic structure, making the wine predisposed to an excellent aging potential. It pairs beautifully with important dishes such as red meat roasts, game, and aged cheeses. Winery history
A family winery with roots dating back to the 1930s; its commercial and winemaking activity began with Riccardo Ceretto and developed under his sons Bruno and Marcello, who in the 1960s started acquiring vineyards and emphasizing their connection to the territory. Generational continuity has led to modernizing agricultural practices and the winery while maintaining a focus on the terroir.
