Elegant and restrained, the Bas Armagnac 1995 signed by Dartigalongue shows a mature and refined profile without lacking character. On the nose it opens with sensations of dried fruit and compote, a sweet note of dried plum and citrus zest, accompanied by light tobacco and sweet spices; the oak is present but well integrated, lending depth rather than dominating. The bouquet remains balanced, inviting a thoughtful sip. The color in the glass is amber with coppery reflections that speak to its age.

On the palate it reveals softness and warmth, a polished structure and a subtle savoriness that maintains freshness and persistence. The sip is enveloping, with echoes of gentle caramel, vanilla and a trace of leather that fades into a long, harmonious finish. It lends itself to after-dinner contemplation or as a refined gift: the wooden case makes it elegant on display and convenient to present at the table; serve at room temperature in large glasses to capture its complexity.
