Polvanera’s Bianco d’Alessano, a fresh expression of Puglia IGT, presents a direct and well-balanced profile. On the nose there are white flowers and ripe citrus, with light hints of pear and white-fleshed apple; a mineral streak and a gentle salinity give depth without weighing it down. The palate is lean yet supported: lively acidity, light-medium body and a softness that caresses the palate. The structure remains linear, with an almost silky texture on the finish and a pleasant persistence that invites the next glass.

Easy to pair, it goes well with grilled fish, raw seafood, summer salads and fresh cheeses, but it can also hold up to flavorful starters and vegetable-based dishes. Serve chilled, not icy, to highlight the contrast between freshness and salinity; best enjoyed young and, if given a few minutes in a carafe, it reveals additional aromatic nuances. An everyday white yet full of character, suitable for both aperitif and informal dinners.
