Bidibi - Maculan is a white wine produced by the well-known Maculan winery, located in the heart of the Veneto region, in particular in the Breganze area, a wine-growing area rich in history and tradition. The Maculan family, for three generations, has been dedicated to the production of high quality wines, exploring and enhancing the potential of native and international vines in a territory unique in terms of climate and soil composition.

Bidibi is a blend of Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and Tai (formerly known as Tocai Friulano) grapes, which are carefully selected and harvested by hand. This combination of grape varieties gives the wine an extraordinary complexity and distinctive character. Maculan's philosophy aims to enhance the varietal characteristics of each grape, through careful viticultural practices and winemaking that aims to preserve the aroma and freshness of the fruit.

At sight, Bidibi has a light and bright straw yellow color. On the nose, the wine offers an intense and varied aromatic bouquet, with notes of white pulp fruit, such as peach and apple, enriched by floral and vegetal nuances typical of Sauvignon Blanc, and a light touch of minerality that adds elegance and depth to the profile olfactory.

In the mouth, the wine is fresh and well balanced, with a lively acidity that supports its drinkability and enhances the fruity flavors and aromatic complexity. The texture is soft and pleasant, with a persistent finish that leaves a sensation of pleasant cleanliness and freshness.

Ideal as an aperitif or paired with light appetizers, fish-based dishes, seafood and fresh cheeses, Bidibi - Maculan is a wine that invites conviviality and discovery, representing a perfect expression of the Breganze area and winemaking mastery of Maculan.

Family-run winery with documented activity since 1947 and modern development under the leadership of Fausto Maculan. A production that combines indigenous grape varieties with international varieties. Winery open to visitors, with vintage archives dating back to the late 1970s and a wine club. Commitment to innovation and experimental projects.
Winery history
The winery originated from the Maculan family's winemaking activities in Breganze. The current estate was developed from the business founded by grandfather Giovanni Maculan in 1947. In the 1970s Fausto Maculan led a qualitative transformation of the estate, elevating local wines such as Torcolato and expanding the portfolio with modern expressions of red and white wines. Today management also involves his daughters, continuing a path that combines local tradition with winemaking innovation.
Production philosophy
The winemaking approach combines respect for the territory with experimentation: meticulous care in the vineyard and the cellar, revival of local traditions and attention to modern techniques. The estate emphasizes the identity of Breganze grapes while also using international varieties for a wide range of wine styles.
Terroir and vineyards
The vineyards are located in the DOC Breganze area, on the hills at the foot of the Altopiano di Asiago. The area is characterized by microclimates favorable to ripening and by hillside aspects that influence production, particularly of passito wines made from Vespaiola.
