Bin 150 - Penfolds is a highly prestigious Australian red wine, produced by the renowned Penfolds winery, known worldwide for its excellence in wine production. The Bin 150 stands out within the Penfolds range for its unique approach to winemaking and its specific provenance, embodying the winery's philosophy of combining innovation with tradition.

Produced mainly with Shiraz grapes, Bin 150 comes from the Barossa Valley wine region, one of the most famous and historic areas of Australia for the cultivation of this grape variety. The Barossa Valley is known for its warm climate and rich soils, which help give the wine aromatic intensity, structure and aging ability.

Aging in oak barriques, both American and French, plays a fundamental role in the profile of Bin 150, adding aromatic complexity and tannic softness, without however masking the varietal characteristics of the Shiraz. This maturation process allows the wine to develop a range of flavors and aromas ranging from ripe black fruits to notes of spice, chocolate and a light vanilla.

At sight, the Bin 150 - Penfolds presents itself with an intense and deep red color. On the nose, it offers a complex bouquet, with aromas of blackberry, plum, black pepper and nuances of aromatic herbs, all integrated with elegant toasted and vanilla notes deriving from the aging in wood.

In the mouth, the wine reveals extraordinary richness and density, with silky yet structured tannins accompanying well-balanced acidity. The flavors are in line with the olfactory perceptions, with a long and persistent finish that leaves a sensation of pleasant complexity and roundness.

Ideal for accompanying red meat dishes, grilled specialties and mature cheeses, Bin 150 - Penfolds is a wine that represents a high-level expression of Australian Shiraz, suitable for both immediate consumption and prolonged aging in the cellar.
