La Nera is a top-fermented Imperial Stout-style beer with a very intriguing taste. On the palate it is immediately complex as the flavors follow one another in a sensory whirlwind, passing from sweet and soft notes, to toasty and intense sensations. An elegant and at the same time convivial drink that will certainly amaze diners. The mug is dark in color with a creamy and persistent cappuccino-colored foam. The nose releases an aromatic bouquet with hints of cocoa, licorice, coffee and toasted notes, ending with an aroma reminiscent of burnt sugar.
This beer is crazy with sweets, from dry biscuits to spoon desserts; it is equally pleasant and indicated with aged cheeses, smoked dishes, game and cut of meat. The choice of pairing it with pizza is a bit risky, but if paired with a white one with gorgonzola or scamorza cheese it is amazing.
