The Bolgheri DOC Superiore "Astuto" from Ricasoli presents a measured, balance-focused profile. Deep ruby in color, it offers on the nose a blend of ripe red fruits with subtle spice notes and balsamic hints, without excess. On the palate it shows solid structure, tannins that are present yet polished, and acidity that supports the sip, with fruity echoes and a medium-length finish.

It pairs well with characterful dishes: grilled red meats, roasts and savory preparations, as well as aged cheeses. Serving temperature around 16–18 °C is recommended; decanting for a few hours can help open the aromas. Suitable for a carefully arranged but relaxed dinner, it is a reliable offering in the range for those seeking a classically styled Tuscan red. It can be cellared for several years if kept under stable temperature and humidity conditions.
