The Bric Loira Barbera d’Alba DOC from Cascina Chicco enters the glass with a direct, honest profile: ripe red fruit, cherry and raspberry, accompanied by light floral nuances and a hint of black spice. The typical Barbera acidity gives it liveliness and lift, while the tannic texture remains pleasant and well integrated, supporting the sip without weighing it down. It shows medium body, with a pleasant juiciness that invites immediate drinking but leaves room for subtle evolution over time in the bottle.

On the palate the wine is clean and straightforward, with echoes of crunchy fruit and a savory note that lengthens the drink; the finish retains a decent persistence without being forced. It’s a versatile companion at the table: pairs with traditional Piedmontese dishes, pasta with ragù that isn’t too heavy, grilled meats and raw-milk cheeses; serve around 16–18 °C to appreciate its freshness and balance.
