The Brunello Di Montalcino DOCG - Castello Tricerchi is born in the heart of Tuscany, a land renowned for the production of robust and long-lasting wines. Made exclusively with Sangiovese grapes, this Brunello best expresses the characteristics of the Montalcino territory, with its limestone soils and ideal climate that favor a slow and complete maturation. The aging takes place in oak barrels, where the wine matures for at least 24 months, followed by an additional period in the bottle, which imparts complexity and softness.

In the glass, it shows an intense ruby red color with garnet reflections. On the nose, there are aromas of red fruits, delicate spices, and light notes of tobacco and leather. The taste is structured, velvety, with well-integrated tannins and a long, harmonious finish. Perfect paired with red meats, roasts, and aged cheeses, ideal for a wine experience that tells the tradition and elegance of the Tuscan terroir.

Winery history
The estate is centered on the eponymous medieval castle, expanded and completed in 1441 by the Tricerchi family; the complex today houses the property's ownership and winemaking activities managed by their descendants. The original buildings were constructed on the Via Francigena, and over time the property has preserved its agricultural and historical character.
Production philosophy
The estate reports a vineyard approach inspired by organic principles, with hand-harvesting, fermentations with indigenous yeasts, extended macerations and traditional aging in large oak casks to showcase Sangiovese.
Terroir and vineyards
The vineyards are located on the northern slope of Montalcino, around the castle, at approximately 290 m altitude. The soils are heterogeneous, with clays, limestone and sand; the predominant exposures are north and west. The estate comprises several historic parcels.
