Brunello di Montalcino Riserva Baricci presents a measured, complex personality, true to the character of the appellation: aromas of ripe red fruit intertwine with earthy notes, touches of sweet spice and a slight balsamic hint that adds depth. The aromatic profile is mature but not overloaded, with elegance in the secondary notes that invites the sip without rhetorical excess.

On the palate the wine shows structure and tension: the body is full, the tannins are solid but fine, the acidity supports the pace and drives toward a pleasantly savory persistence. The taste is consistent, with fruity callbacks and a hint of tobacco accompanying the finish. Excellent with braised meats, roasted game and aged cheeses; it can benefit from a short decant before serving to fully open. A Brunello to be approached with patience, suited to those seeking concentration without sacrificing balance and clarity.
