On the palate the wine reveals a full but well-proportioned body, with freshness that supports the sip and tannins that are present yet well-handled, capable of giving structure without weighing it down. The character is direct and honest, with a persistence that returns to fruity and slightly earthy tones. Buio shows warmth but balance on the palate, with a pleasant roundness and aromatic clarity that invites a second glass; it is a wine to be enjoyed slowly, ideal if left to breathe in a decanter or opened a few hours beforehand. It pairs successfully with flavorful meat dishes, roasts and aged cheeses, but also stands up well to preparations based on grilled vegetables and sauces with a rustic character. Serve leisurely to appreciate its progression.
