The Cabernet Franc Friuli Isonzo DOC from Ronco del Gelso offers a restrained, clear profile representative of the variety within the appellation. In the glass it shows a medium ruby color; on the nose there are red berry notes, subtle herbaceous hints and floral touches, presented in a sober and recognizable way without excess. The palate develops with pleasant tension and fruity returns in the finish. It is medium-bodied, with lively acidity and moderate tannins that provide balance and drinkability.

Given its versatile character, it suits traditional dishes and convivial moments: it pairs well with grilled red meats, cured meats that are not overly aged and medium-matured cheeses. It is suitable for those looking for a straightforward, fruit-forward wine; serve slightly cooler than room temperature to highlight freshness and aromas. It also pairs nicely with mushroom dishes or relatively simple tomato-based sauces.
