The Cabernet Franc IGT Costa Toscana by Podere Conca, from the Apistós line, represents a careful wine expression of one of the most suitable areas of the Tuscan coast. This wine is made from Cabernet Franc grapes, a variety that benefits in this area from the mild climate and well-drained soils, granting elegant structures and intense aromas. The aging in a wooden case enhances the varietal characteristics, enriching the bouquet with spicy hints, notes of ripe red fruits, and a delicate herbal note typical of Cabernet Franc.

On the palate, it is harmonious, with soft tannins and balanced acidity that ensure persistence and freshness. Ideal to pair with red meat dishes, game, or aged cheeses, this wine best expresses the union between territory and grape variety, offering an engaging and refined tasting experience.

Winery history
Podere Conca was founded through the collaboration of Silvia Cirri and Livio Aloisi, a project launched with contributions from Silvia’s nephew, Giovanni Gastel, who transformed a historic estate into the small wine and olive oil estate it is today. The business has grown in recent years, focusing on artisanal, organic production.
Production philosophy
The estate emphasizes respect for the terroir and biodiversity through certified organic farming practices, artisanal care in the vineyard and cellar, direct oversight of the entire production process, and attention to social responsibility toward its staff and the local community.
Terroir and vineyards
Activities take place in the Bolgheri area, in the province of Livorno. The vineyards are located between the estate and the locality of Le Ferruggini, a short distance from the sea, on soils that range from very stony to sandy, favourable to drainage and characteristic of Bolgheri’s coastal terrain.
Awards and recognitions
Recent mentions and recognitions include Elleboro 2024 being listed among the "101 Eccellenze di Toscana 2026". Additionally, the wine Apistós has been evaluated and reviewed by Wine Enthusiast.
