The Ramus Riserva expresses the rich personality of the Alto Adige Cabernet-Merlot blend: on the nose it opens with ripe red and black fruits, with aromas of cherry and plum and light spicy notes that add depth. Of good concentration, it shows an elegant profile, with lively acidity that balances the fruit and a tannic structure that is present but well integrated; the palate is smooth and supported, with a sense of freshness typical of cooler climates. It shows good complexity and the ability to evolve over time without losing freshness.

On the palate it reveals structure and length: the body is flavorful and the firm tannins are nonetheless rounded, leaving room for a persistent finish with fruity echoes and a slight spicy tone. It pairs successfully with red meats, roasts and aged cheeses; it is also suitable to accompany traditional dishes and preparations based on mushrooms or stewed game. It deserves to be opened after a few years or offered today for those who prefer a wine already mature. Serve at around 16-18 °C.
