Technical information
Producer Ronchi di Castelluccio
Vintage 2013
Gradation 13.0%
Format 75 cl
This Cabernet Sauvignon IGT from Ronchi di Castelluccio displays a clear, recognizable character. Of deep ruby red color, it releases on the nose impressions of ripe red and black fruits, with discreet hints of spice and a slight herbaceous note typical of the variety. The aromatic profile, without unnecessary ornamentation, offers pleasant intensity and good persistence. The approach is direct yet balanced, without excess, suitable for those seeking a wine with personality that remains frank in its notes.

On the palate it shows structure and present but not aggressive tannins, supported by good freshness that aids drinkability and pairings. It has a pleasant finish with fruity returns and light spicy notes. It pairs well with medium-structured dishes such as red meats, light game and matured cheeses, or simply for company at the table. Recommended serving temperature around 16–18 °C; decanting may be useful for those who prefer to soften the tannins in the early stages.
