Cabreo Il Borgo Toscana IGT 2021 in magnum format, presented in a wooden case by Tenute del Cabreo for Folonari, offers an immediate and composed presence. In the glass it shows a ruby colour of medium intensity; on the nose there are aromas of ripe red fruits, light spicy nuances and floral hints, accompanied by distinctly herbaceous notes. On the palate it appears balanced, with well-integrated tannins and a structure that supports freshness without excess; the finish is of good persistence, with fruity echoes and a slight sapidity that enhances drinkability.

The magnum format and the wooden case make it suitable both as a gift and for those looking to keep bottles in the short term; to appreciate its qualities it is recommended to open a few hours in advance or to decant if served immediately. Winery history

The Folonari family has deep roots in the Brescia area and has been involved in wine production since the late 18th century. At the end of the 19th century the headquarters were moved to Brescia, and in the early 20th century the family acquired the historic Ruffino winery. In the 1960s Nino Folonari began a shift toward quality with the acquisition of estates in Chianti. In 2000 Ambrogio and Giovanni Folonari established Ambrogio e Giovanni Folonari Tenute, which brings together several estates in Tuscany, while the Folonari brand offers an extensive range of table wines and appellation wines.
