Cabreo Mytho Toscana IGT is a red wine offered by Tenute del Cabreo under the Folonari label. In the glass it shows a ruby red colour of medium intensity; on the nose it presents aromas of ripe red fruit, notes of small dark berries and delicate spicy and balsamic hints that integrate unobtrusively. The palate has good substance, with a balanced structure, defined but not intrusive tannins and a pleasant persistence bringing fruity echoes and a slight herbaceous note on the finish. There is a softness that makes the mouthfeel smooth and inviting.

Serve slightly cool, around 16–18 °C, in large glasses to enhance aromatic expression; a short decant can help open the aromas. It pairs with red meat dishes, roasts, hearty legume soups and aged cheeses, as well as structured first courses. Suitable for convivial gatherings or an informal dinner, it is a versatile offer from the Folonari line without excessive oenological pretension.

Winery history
The Folonari family has deep roots in the Brescia area and has been involved in wine production since the late 18th century. At the end of the 19th century the headquarters were moved to Brescia, and in the early 20th century the family acquired the historic Ruffino winery. In the 1960s Nino Folonari began a shift toward quality with the acquisition of estates in Chianti. In 2000 Ambrogio and Giovanni Folonari established Ambrogio e Giovanni Folonari Tenute, which brings together several estates in Tuscany, while the Folonari brand offers an extensive range of table wines and appellation wines.
Production philosophy
Enhance the production areas, combine tradition and innovation, and focus on grape quality to produce wines that are distinctive and closely tied to their territory; the company's plan includes investments in the estates and attention to the diversity of terroirs.
Terroir and vineyards
Headquarters and estates are mainly in Tuscany, with production and a presence also in north-eastern regions such as Veneto and in areas like the Collio; the company’s history begins in the Bresciano and includes references to territories around Lake Garda and beyond.
