An authentic gem of French winemaking, Cahors Les Laquets is one of the standout wines from Domaine Cosse & Maisonneuve, a winery renowned for its commitment to organic and biodynamic agriculture. Originating from the picturesque hills of Cahors in the South-West of France, this wine is a sublime expression of the Malbec grape, which here finds one of its deepest and most complex manifestations.

The Cahors Les Laquets presents in the glass with an intense, almost black ruby color, typical of mature Malbec. On the nose, it offers a complex bouquet of ripe black fruits, such as blackberry and plum, enriched with hints of spices, tobacco, and a fine earthy mineral touch, typical of the Cahors terroir. On the palate, the wine is powerful yet balanced, with robust but velvety tannins and a long aromatic persistence that finishes on notes of chocolate and vanilla.

Perfect for accompanying hearty dishes like red meat roasts, game, or aged cheeses, Cahors Les Laquets is a wine that promises to evolve beautifully for many years in the cellar. A true treasure for lovers of structured and aromatic reds.
