The Bolgheri Rosso DOC Campo al Mare from Folonari presents an even, well-structured profile, aimed at those seeking a Tuscan red without excess. In the glass it shows an intense ruby colour with lively reflections; on the nose there are red fruit and ripe notes, accompanied by light spicy and herbal hints that enrich the aromatic profile. On the palate it is enveloping, with present but well-integrated tannins and freshness that supports the sip, delivering an overall harmonious and pleasant structure.

Suitable to accompany Mediterranean dishes, roasted meats or mature cheeses, this magnum format is intended for convivial moments and sharing among several people. The wooden case eases transport and short-term storage, also making it a good gift idea. It is recommended to serve at a moderate temperature and, if necessary, to open in advance to allow the wine to express itself fully.

Winery history
The Folonari family has deep roots in the Brescia area and has been involved in wine production since the late 18th century. At the end of the 19th century the headquarters were moved to Brescia, and in the early 20th century the family acquired the historic Ruffino winery. In the 1960s Nino Folonari began a shift toward quality with the acquisition of estates in Chianti. In 2000 Ambrogio and Giovanni Folonari established Ambrogio e Giovanni Folonari Tenute, which brings together several estates in Tuscany, while the Folonari brand offers an extensive range of table wines and appellation wines.
Production philosophy
Enhance the production areas, combine tradition and innovation, and focus on grape quality to produce wines that are distinctive and closely tied to their territory; the company's plan includes investments in the estates and attention to the diversity of terroirs.
Terroir and vineyards
Headquarters and estates are mainly in Tuscany, with production and a presence also in north-eastern regions such as Veneto and in areas like the Collio; the company’s history begins in the Bresciano and includes references to territories around Lake Garda and beyond.
