The Toscana Vermentino DOC Campo al Mare by Folonari is a white wine that conveys the freshness and saline character typical of Vermentino in a Tuscan expression. In the glass it shows a pale straw colour; on the nose it opens with scents of ripe citrus, white flowers and a light herbal note recalling the Mediterranean scrub, accompanied by a subtle mineral hint. On the palate it confirms a light, uplifted structure with lively acidity and a salinity that supports the sip, finishing on a clean, pleasant note that invites a second glass.

It is versatile at the table: suitable as an aperitif and a match for fish dishes, shellfish, salads and Mediterranean preparations, as well as fresh cheeses and light starters. Serve chilled, ideally around 10–12 °C, in not-too-broad glasses to preserve the aromas. Recommended for those seeking an everyday white that is immediate and characterful; best consumed young to appreciate its freshness.

Winery history
The Folonari family has deep roots in the Brescia area and has been involved in wine production since the late 18th century. At the end of the 19th century the headquarters were moved to Brescia, and in the early 20th century the family acquired the historic Ruffino winery. In the 1960s Nino Folonari began a shift toward quality with the acquisition of estates in Chianti. In 2000 Ambrogio and Giovanni Folonari established Ambrogio e Giovanni Folonari Tenute, which brings together several estates in Tuscany, while the Folonari brand offers an extensive range of table wines and appellation wines.
Production philosophy
Enhance the production areas, combine tradition and innovation, and focus on grape quality to produce wines that are distinctive and closely tied to their territory; the company's plan includes investments in the estates and attention to the diversity of terroirs.
Terroir and vineyards
Headquarters and estates are mainly in Tuscany, with production and a presence also in north-eastern regions such as Veneto and in areas like the Collio; the company’s history begins in the Bresciano and includes references to territories around Lake Garda and beyond.
Awards and recognitions
The "Vinitaly Territory Ambassador" award was presented to Ambrogio e Giovanni Folonari Tenute.
