This Carignano del Sulcis DOC Riserva Buio Buio from Mesa immediately shows a decisive character without being harsh: deep ruby color and an aromatic texture that plays on ripe red and black fruits, hints of Mediterranean scrub and light spices. In the glass, essential yet rich sensations emerge, with a soft, fleshy texture accompanied by a fresh line of acidity; the tannins are present, well integrated and contribute to a solid structure that supports the sip through to a dry, persistent finish.

Winery history
Masi's history is rooted in Valpolicella Classica. A historic family-owned estate, it has developed and enhanced the wines from dried grapes typical of the region.
