Pairing Red meats, aged cheeses
This Barbera d'Alba shows a fresh, direct profile, with clear red fruit reminiscent of cherry and morello cherry, plum nuances and a light floral touch.

On the nose it’s not intrusive but offers cleanliness and immediacy; on the palate lively acidity supports a medium body, the tannins are soft and well integrated and it is smooth and pleasant to drink. The finish is savory and leaves a lingering persistence that invites a second sip, without ever losing grace or substance. It lends itself to everyday dining and to more characterful dishes: ragù, grilled meats, cured meats and aged cheeses bring out its freshness; it also works well with rich first courses. An excellent choice for those seeking a structured yet enjoyable wine, suitable for informal gatherings and the family table. If left to rest for a few years it retains its balance, but its strength lies in its immediate accessibility and versatility in pairings.
