The Rosso Toscana IGT "Cepparello" produced by Isole e Olena is a true expression of class and elegance, encapsulating the essence of Tuscany in a glass. Resulting from a careful selection of Sangiovese grapes, this wine represents one of the most renowned examples of pure varietal expression of this grape.

The vines grow on calcareous soils rich in skeleton, located in the picturesque hills of the Chianti Classico region, between the municipalities of Barberino Val d'Elsa and Castellina. The meticulous care of the vineyards and attention to detail throughout the entire winemaking process are palpable in every sip of this wine.

Cepparello is fermented in stainless steel tanks, with a long maceration period that allows for the extraction of intense colors, deep aromas, and robust tannins. Subsequently, it matures for about 18 months in French oak barriques, both new and first passage, helping to add layers of aromatic complexity and a velvety texture.

Visually, the wine displays an intense ruby-red color, with garnet highlights as it matures. On the nose, it emits rich scents of ripe red fruits, sweet spices, and hints of tobacco and leather, a testament to its aging in wood. On the palate, Cepparello from Isole e Olena offers a balanced structure, with soft yet present tannins, and an acidity that ensures freshness and longevity.

Recommended for aging at least a decade, this wine wonderfully evolves over time, developing even greater complexity. It is ideal to accompany rich dishes such as braised meats, game, and aged cheeses, with which it contrasts with its elegant robustness.

The Rosso Toscana IGT "Cepparello" by Isole e Olena is an exemplar that every enthusiast of Italian wines should desire to have in their cellar, representing a magnificent interpretation of Tuscan Sangiovese.
