Champagne Blanc De Blancs 2018 - Delamotte is born in the heart of the Côte des Blancs, an area renowned for the production of Chardonnay of the highest quality. Made exclusively from Chardonnay grapes, this vintage reflects the elegance and fine freshness of this variety and the territory. The 2018 vintage stands out for a perfect balance between lively acidity and structure, achieved through careful winemaking and prolonged aging on the lees, which enriches the aromatic complexity without weighing it down.

On the nose, delicate floral notes of white flowers and citrus are expressed, accompanied by hints of almond and lightly toasted yeast. On the palate, the texture is silky, vibrant, and harmonious, with a mineral persistence that recalls the chalk cliffs typical of the terroir. Perfect as an aperitif or paired with refined fish dishes, shellfish, and fresh cheeses, this Blanc de Blancs highlights the subtlety and freshness typical of Chardonnay-based Champagne.

Winery history
Founded in 1760, Delamotte is one of the oldest Champagne houses. Its historic base is in Le Mesnil‑sur‑Oger and, over the course of the 20th century, its fate became linked with that of other local houses. Since 1988 it has been part of the Laurent‑Perrier group and shares history and resources with its sister house Salon.
Production philosophy
Delamotte’s work places terroir at the centre: wines built on the purity and freshness of Chardonnay, with respect for the vineyard and attention to naturalness. The range is deliberately limited and designed to be accessible yet refined, with the aim of enhancing pleasure and conviviality.
Terroir and vineyards
