Pairing Garden Gastronomy: seasonal recipes and local produce
Champagne La Grande Dame Rosé 2015 by Veuve Clicquot presents an elegant, measured profile, showing delicate aromas of red fruit, floral hints and a touch of toasted bread. In the glass it displays fine perlage and a bright appearance; on the palate there are gentle tannins well integrated with the body, a lively acidity that gives drive and a saline thread that balances the fruity element. The whole is refined yet approachable, with a clean finish and pleasant persistence without extremes.

Ideal for important occasions or to accompany more flavorful fish dishes, shellfish, tartare and some preparations of white meat, it also lends itself to contemplative tasting in the right circumstances. Serve at around 8–10 °C, preferably in a tulip-shaped glass that enhances the aromas and the bubbles; open the bottle shortly before serving to preserve its liveliness. The boxed presentation also makes it suitable as a gift idea.
