On the nose there are immediate impressions of compact red fruits and white-fleshed fruits, accompanied by bakery notes and a light bitter almond; the Blanc de Noirs here expresses structure and warmth without weighing it down, showing a balance between richness and freshness. The Premier Cru character is evident in the precision of the aromatic profiles and the compactness of the bouquet.

On the palate it reveals a full, flowing texture: the tannic component is present but soft, the acidity supports the sip and a pleasant savoriness prolongs it. Winery history

The Folonari family has deep roots in the Brescia area and has been involved in wine production since the late 18th century. At the end of the 19th century the headquarters were moved to Brescia, and in the early 20th century the family acquired the historic Ruffino winery. In the 1960s Nino Folonari began a shift toward quality with the acquisition of estates in Chianti. In 2000 Ambrogio and Giovanni Folonari established Ambrogio e Giovanni Folonari Tenute, which brings together several estates in Tuscany, while the Folonari brand offers an extensive range of table wines and appellation wines.
