Winery history
The estate began as an agricultural and viticultural enterprise tied to the Le Guédard family: Bernard Le Guédard settled in Cumières in the early 1950s and production then passed to the next generation, now led by José and Sébastien Sanchez. The estate has been present for decades in the Grande Vallée de la Marne and has progressively enhanced its individual vineyard parcels, maintaining traditional winemaking methods and family management.
Production philosophy
Respect for the land and careful vineyard management are at the heart of the approach: targeted vineyard work aimed at quality, winemaking that combines modern and traditional techniques, and attentive handling of secondary fermentations and ageing. In recent years the estate has steered its practices toward organic certification to enhance sustainability and the identity of the terroir.
