The Chardonnay Friuli Isonzo Rive Alte DOC from Ronco del Gelso is a white wine that expresses the variety with restraint in this part of Friuli. In the glass it appears clear, with straw reflections; on the nose there are notes of white-fleshed fruit, citrus hints and a light floral touch. On the palate it shows an even texture, with measured freshness and a somewhat saline finish that supports drinkability without extremes. The description is intentionally cautious to allow for vintage variations and personal experience.

It pairs well for everyday meals: fish generally, shellfish, light vegetable preparations and white meats, as well as fresh or semi-aged cheeses. Best served well chilled but not ice-cold, around 10–12 °C, in glasses that are not too narrow to enhance primary aromas. Intended for those seeking a direct, versatile white, suitable both as an aperitif and to accompany a meal, with an accessible profile and no frills.
