After the manual harvest, fermentation takes place in Burgundy "pièces", with a vinification process that involves the soft pressing of the whole grapes. The refinement period is 10 months with "batonnage", a practice that contributes to enriching the complexity of the wine.

The color of the wine is a bright, bright yellow with golden hues. On the nose, the characteristic organoleptic hints of Chardonnay emerge, with notes of pineapple, cedar peel, hazelnut and acacia. These aromas blend harmoniously with the touch of woody coming from the oak barrels where the wine ages.

The sip is rich and deep, progressively developing complex citrus, fruity and mineral sensations. The clear flavor blends well with lively acidity, introducing a toasted hazelnut finish that adds further depth to the flavor profile.

In terms of pairings, this wine lends itself well to accompanying shellfish, lake and sea fish with white meat, risottos and first courses with seasonal vegetables, as well as medium-mature cheeses.

Country: Italia
Founded: 1896
Grapes: Nebbiolo, Barbera, Dolcetto, Chardonnay, Riesling, Moscato
Estate in Serralunga d'Alba with a long-standing production of Barolo from vineyard crus. Deeply rooted in the Langhe and dedicated to showcasing Nebbiolo. Production includes Barolo, Barbaresco, Langhe Nebbiolo, Barbera, Dolcetto and several white wines from the Langa. Family-run operation with an approach focused on preserving the character of single vineyards and traditional blends.
Winery history
The Massolino family has been active in Serralunga d'Alba since 1896, a date established from archival records. Over time the estate has promoted historic vineyards in Serralunga and in recent years has also launched projects in the Barbaresco area, expanding its presence in the Langhe.
Production philosophy
The production approach aims to highlight the voice of the terroir and the grape rather than cellar interventions: careful vineyard management, winemaking that respects the raw material, and the goal of producing precise, expressive wines capable of conveying the distinct character of each cru, with particular attention to Nebbiolo.
Terroir and vineyards
The winery is located in Serralunga d'Alba, in the heart of the Langhe. The wines come from vineyards on hills well suited to Nebbiolo; the estate offers "classic" wines produced by blending multiple vineyards and crus that highlight differences in soil, exposure and vine age.
