The Chardonnay Premium - Bodega Alta Vista is a representative example of the excellence in Chardonnay production in Argentina, coming from one of the most prestigious and respected wineries in the country. Bodega Alta Vista, located in the heart of the Mendoza wine region, is renowned for its ability to combine traditional viticulture methods with modern winemaking techniques, producing wines that faithfully reflect the unique character of Argentina's terroir.

This Premium Chardonnay is made by selecting the best Chardonnay grapes from the Bodega Alta Vista vineyards, grown at altitude in the cooler areas of Mendoza, where the wide temperature variations between day and night allow us to obtain grapes of excellent quality, with a good aromatic concentration and a balanced acidity. Meticulous attention in the management of the vineyard and the manual harvesting of the grapes are fundamental to preserving the integrity of the fruit and its distinctive characteristics.

The wine is vinified with the aim of enhancing the purity and varietal expressiveness of the Chardonnay, with a part of the wine aging in French oak barriques to add complexity, structure and toasted nuances to the aromatic profile, without overpowering the freshness and fruitiness of the grape.

At sight, the Chardonnay Premium from Bodega Alta Vista has a brilliant straw yellow color. The nose opens with a rich and inviting bouquet, which ranges from notes of white pulp fruit, such as apple and pear, to nuances of citrus, enriched by touches of vanilla and a light hint of toasting resulting from aging in wood. In the mouth, the wine shows an elegant structure, with a lively freshness that perfectly balances the richness of the fruit and the woody notes, leading to a long and harmonious finish.

Perfect as an aperitif, this Chardonnay pairs beautifully with fish, seafood, poultry and white meat dishes, as well as being an excellent companion for rice and pasta dishes with creamy sauces.

Winery history

Terroir and vineyards
Alta Vista's vineyards are located in the prime areas of Mendoza and in some terroirs of Salta; they operate in high-altitude terroirs with an emphasis on soils and local microclimates, including areas such as Chacras de Coria and parcels in Valle de Uco.
