Château La Gurgue Margaux AOC BIO represents excellence in the field of organic Bordeaux wines, produced by the Chateau La Gurgue estate, which is located in the heart of the prestigious Margaux appellation. This wine is the result of a viticulture and winemaking philosophy that places particular emphasis on respect for the environment and sustainable production, following rigorous organic standards that exclude the use of synthetic chemicals in the vineyard and cellar.

Margaux is renowned for its elegant and complex wines, characterized by a fine tannic structure, deep floral and fruity aromas and remarkable aging capacity. Château La Gurgue, with its vineyards located in one of the most privileged areas of Margaux, benefits from an exceptional terroir, composed of gravel and pebbles on a bed of clay and limestone, which ensures optimal drainage and contributes to concentration and complexity of the flavors of the grapes.

Château La Gurgue Margaux AOC BIO is mainly composed of Cabernet Sauvignon, flanked by Merlot and a small percentage of Petit Verdot, varietals that find the ideal conditions in the Margaux denomination to best express their qualities. Winemaking takes place with attention to preserving the purity of the fruit and the expression of the terroir, while aging in oak barriques allows the wine to further develop its aromatic complexity and elegance.

Visually, the wine presents a deep ruby red color. On the nose, the bouquet is rich and inviting, with notes of ripe red fruits, violet and rose flowers, and nuances of sweet spices and toasted wood, which reflect the typical elegance and depth of Margaux wines. In the mouth, Château La Gurgue offers a harmonious tasting experience, with silky and well-integrated tannins, a balanced acidity that confers freshness, and a long and persistent finish that allows returns of fruit and spices to emerge.

Perfect for pairing with rich, flavorful dishes, such as red meats, game and mature cheeses, Château La Gurgue Margaux AOC BIO is also a wine that can be appreciated for its ability to age gracefully, gaining complexity and aromatic nuances over time.
