Chateauneuf du Pape - Croix de Bois - M. Chapoutier is a prestigious red wine produced in the renowned Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation, in the south of France. Michel Chapoutier, one of the most respected producers of the Rhône region, is known for his philosophy which places the utmost respect for the terroir and the purest expression of the grape variety at its centre. The "Croix de Bois" cuvée represents one of its most exclusive selections, made with Grenache grapes coming from a single vineyard of considerable value, characterized by soils rich in round pebbles which accumulate heat during the day and release it during the night, favoring a optimal ripening of the grapes.

The Chateauneuf du Pape Croix de Bois embodies the essence of Grenache in purity, varietal which in this terroir expresses complexity, depth and an extraordinary aging capacity. The winemaking follows the principles of organic and biodynamic agriculture, to which M. Chapoutier is deeply attached, thus ensuring a product of great authenticity and quality.

Visually, the wine shows an intense and bright ruby red color. On the nose, it opens with a rich and complex bouquet, where notes of ripe red fruit such as cherries and strawberries emerge, spicy accents, nuances of aromatic Mediterranean herbs and a light touch of chocolate and leather, witnesses of an elegant evolution. Chapoutier's production philosophy aims to reflect the unique character of the Croix de Bois vineyard, and this translates into a wine of great aromatic expressiveness.

In the mouth, the Croix de Bois reveals a powerful but balanced structure, with silky tannins and a well-integrated acidity that gives freshness and liveliness to the palate. The aromatic persistence is remarkable, with a long and savory finish that invites another sip.

Ideal in combination with rich and structured dishes, such as roasted red meats, stews, game and mature cheeses, the Chateauneuf du Pape - Croix de Bois - M. Chapoutier is a wine that amazes for its intensity and refinement, representing an excellent choice for lovers of Rhône Valley wines and for those seeking a memorable tasting experience.
