This Chianti Classico DOCG Gran Selezione Gaiole from Castello di Brolio, offered in magnum format by the Ricasoli family, is a wine that reflects its place of origin. In the glass it shows an intense colour and offers aromas of ripe red fruit, subtle floral notes and hints of Mediterranean herbs; the olfactory profile remains balanced with good persistence. On the palate there is solid structure, tannins that are present but well integrated and a freshness that supports the whole, with aromatic echoes of fruit and delicate spice.

It pairs well with meat dishes, aged cheeses and rustic preparations typical of Tuscan cuisine; the magnum format also makes it ideal for convivial occasions or for keeping an opened bottle longer. It is recommended to serve it at a moderate temperature and, if desired, to decant it to favour the opening of the aromas. It is a wine that can also be appreciated after a few years, depending on personal preference.
