The Chianti Classico DOCG Riserva 2022 from Rocca Guicciarda offers a welcoming, restrained profile. Visually it shows a lively ruby color with garnet highlights; on the nose it suggests ripe red fruits, light floral notes and a subtle spicy hint. The expressiveness is clear but not intrusive, with aromas that evolve in the glass revealing earthier shades over time.

On the palate it has good structure, with present but smoothed tannins and a balance of acidity and body that invites drinking. The finish is persistent and dry, with fruity echoes and a mild spiciness that harmonizes the texture. It is recommended to serve at a moderate temperature and pair with meat dishes, aged cured meats or medium-mature cheeses; a short decanting can help it open up further. Suitable both for everyday drinking and informal occasions.
