Red meats, bistecca alla fiorentina, roasts, aged cheeses |
It pairs with red meat dishes, game in restrained preparations and aged cheeses; it stands up to traditional sauces and oven-cooked dishes. To appreciate its complexity it is advisable to serve it at a moderate temperature of around 16–18 °C and consider light aeration in a decanter when the bottle is freshly opened. This Jeroboam works well for convivial occasions and as a bottle to share, without claims of immediate spectacle.
