The magnum format enhances the wine's slow development and suits convivial occasions or a thoughtful gift. It pairs with medium-bodied dishes such as roasted meats, stews and aged cheeses, as well as heartier local culinary proposals. A moderate decantation before serving at around 16–18°C is advised to better appreciate the aromas. If desired, it can be cellared for several years under stable temperature and humidity conditions.
