The Chianti Classico Gran Selezione Badia a Passignano was born in the Chianti Classico area, to be precise in Badia a Passignano, in one of the Antinoric estates. It has more than 220 total hectares located on the gentle hillsides, at an altitude of 300 m a.s.l. 56 hectares of Sangiovese vineyards. A wine capable of expressing all the characteristics of Chianti Classico in the best possible way, produced exclusively from Sangiovese grapes. The bunches are harvested by hand, after which they undergo a soft pressing, vinification in French and Hungarian barriques, and maturation again in barriques for another 14 months.

When poured, it appears to have a thick ruby red color with garnet reflections. It seduces the nose with its fruity aromas of plum and mulberry, mixed with floral aromas of violet and hints of licorice. The sip is enveloping and warm, particularly satisfying thanks to its softness and sweet tannins.

Definitely a goblet to serve on the table with important meat dishes.
