The Cisterna Fuori Etna Rosso from Biondi Winery is a wine that captures the essence of the volcanic terrain from which it originates. Produced on the slopes of Mount Etna in Sicily, this wine is an authentic expression of ancient vines rooted in soil rich with volcanic minerals.

The Cisterna Fuori Etna Rosso is primarily composed of Nerello Mascalese grapes, with a small portion of Nerello Cappuccio, native varieties that give the wine an elegant structure and distinctive character. The vinification process follows traditional methods, emphasizing the naturalness of the process without invasive interventions. The wine's aging in wood is moderate to preserve the typical fruity and earthy notes of the terroir.

Visually, the wine presents a deep ruby red color with garnet highlights. On the nose, it offers a complex aroma with scents of cherry, blackberry, tobacco, and a slight spicy touch of black pepper. These olfactory sensations blend perfectly with a distinctive mineral background, a tribute to its volcanic origin.

On the palate, the Cisterna Fuori Etna Rosso reveals itself as layered and well-balanced, with soft tannins accompanying a surprising freshness and a long and pleasant aromatic persistence. It is a wine that expresses power and elegance, capable of evolving splendidly over the years.

Perfectly paired with Mediterranean cuisine, red meats, game, and aged cheeses, this Etna Rosso is an excellent option for those wishing to discover the intensity and uniqueness of Sicilian volcanic wines.
