This is a cognac of restrained, measured character, presented by Maison Ferrand with the distinctive label "Porto Cask". On the nose it opens on ripe fruit and plum jam, with hints of brandied cherry and candied orange peel; the time in Port casks shows in sweet and spicy tones, joined by light notes of vanilla and cocoa. It is not an ostentatious style: balance between sweetness and structure prevails, with well-integrated aromatic profiles.

On the palate it is soft and full, with a clear match between aromas and sip: fruit envelops the palate, supported by a pleasant sapidity and delicate tannins that add tension. The finish is medium-long, with returns of dark chocolate and sweet spices. It is well suited to be enjoyed neat or with a small ice cube; pairs nicely with dark chocolate, aged cheeses or nut-based desserts without overpowering their delicacy.
