Cointreau is a famous French liqueur produced with an old family recipe.
At the base of this drink there is a harmonious blend of selected sweet and bitter oranges.
A crystalline liqueur which however, with the addition of ice, acquires an opalescent color (opaque white) which indicates a high content of natural essential oils.
The taste is delicious! At the beginning, a sweet taste is perceived which evolves into a "tone of fire" with notes rich in bitter and sweet oranges. Rich and fruity aroma, with notes of ripe fruit, white flowers and essential oils.
Cointreau is traditionally drunk as an aperitif and is used for the preparation of exquisite cocktails.
