The Collepiano Sagrantino DOCG by Arnaldo Caprai is one of the most authentic and esteemed expressions of Sagrantino, a native grape variety that reaches its highest expression in the Umbria region, more precisely in the areas surrounding Montefalco. This wine reveals the mastery of the Arnaldo Caprai winery in elevating a grape with a history deeply rooted in the territory.

With an intense color, a deep ruby red that anticipates the olfactory and taste complexity of the wine, Collepiano presents a nose with a rich bouquet of aromas: ripe berries such as blackberries and plums, enriched by spicy nuances of black pepper and vanilla notes derived from a skillful maturation in barrique. Over time, elegant hints of leather and tobacco emerge, evidencing its evolution and aging potential.

On the palate, it is vigorous and balanced. The tannic structure is robust but well-integrated, capable of supporting its broad body. The acidity is well calibrated, providing freshness and a long persistence, with a finish that recalls the spices and fruity notes rediscovered on the nose.

Ideal for pairing with red meat dishes, game, and aged cheeses, the Collepiano Sagrantino DOCG is a wine that stands out for its longevity, able to evolve magnificently for many years if stored under the proper conditions.

Meditation and conviviality blend in every glass of this noble wine, making every occasion a special moment to be celebrated in the spirit of Umbrian wine tradition. A true gem for wine lovers seeking a product distinguished by complexity and identity.
